Mount Gambier High School is located in Mount Gambier in the south east of South Australia, a rural town set in a landscape of volcanic craters, limestone caves
and underground waterways.

Situated between Adelaide and Melbourne, Mount Gambier is characterised by a large number of attractive, historic buildings, excellent sporting, recreational and shopping facilities and the famous Blue Lake which fills a 75 m deep extinct volcanic crater.
