Kapunda High School Introduction
Kapunda High School is a comprehensive Years 8-12 school with beautiful historical buildings set in South Australia’s classic country. The town of Kapunda is approximately 70 minutes drive north east of the city of Adelaide, and has streetscapes that reflect its colourful historical past as a copper mining town and base for huge cattle operations.
Kapunda supports a rural and town population of approximately 3,500 people. It is the centre of the Light Regional Council area, the fastest-growing rural-urban area in South Australia. The town has excellent sporting and recreational facilities.
