Caloundra High is located on the coast at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast. The school has a distinct middle and senior school operating on a split shift timetable.
The school offers a broad curriculum catering for students’ interest in academic and vocational areas, including a wide range of sporting, community and cultural activities. Subjects including Aerospace, Marine Aquatic Practices and Surfing Excellence provide students with immediate links to employment.
An excellent Arts program includes Visual and Performing Arts, Music, Music Extension, Stage and Concert Bands and Vocal Group. French and Italian are the Language options. Significant ICT capacity is provided in the school with 11 computer labs and 4 computers in every classroom.
